Savoir-vivre in Paris: Life is there to be enjoyed.
Why is Paris called the city of love? Because people come here from all over the world to spend romantic weekends, make marriage proposals and write their names on the hand-rails in the viewing platorm of the Eiffel Tower. Romance also works in other cities, but somehow... it's not quite the same. Between the hand-holding lovers, recognisable by the twinkle in their eye or by the first serious argument, culture tourists weave their way through the crowds with their city guide in hand, limping thanks to their accumulated blisters. You could spend a week in Le Louvre alone and a single visit will never be enough to visit all of the mueseums in Paris. You should also take your time to check out the parks and fleamarkets, Montmartre crepes with nutella and banana, risk a tense neck whilst starting up at the Notre Dame, sail along the Seine, try out snails, marvel at teh fashion and plunge into the night-life. There's actually only two options; you plan your trip to Paris down to the last minute, or simply catch few sight and then see where it takes you. Even if if means that you miss a few sights. We recommend the latter, as it fits much better to the French savoir-vivre.
