From the airport to the city
Milan is served by the Malpensa and Linate airports. Malpensa is an international hub, whereas Linate is located closer to the city and is used mainly for domestic flights. The Malpensa express train shuttles passengers between the airport and the Cadorna train station every 30 minutes. The trip takes 40 minutes. The Malpensa shuttle bus also runs every half an hour between the airport and the central station, Stazione Centrale, between 6am and 12.30am daily. Buses also travel between Stazione Centrale and Linate airport every half an hour, between 6.05am and 11.45pm. Taxi trips between the airports and the city centre have a fixed rate: €70 from Malpensa to the city centre; €55 from Malpensa to Neue Messe Rho; €40 from Linate to Neue Messe Rho and €80 between Malpensa and Linate airports. Rates are fixed, regardless of the time of travel or the day. The fixed rates usually work to the benefit of the customer.
