“Modern and developed” – this is how Vineet Bhatia describes his cuisine. The Indian who established a worldwide chain of premium restaurants was the first of his country to be awarded with stars by the Guide Michelin. Bhatia is described as one of the pioneers of contemporary Indian cuisine. “I think no national cuisine should stand still, but always keep moving and matching.”
In his restaurant in Dubai he doesn’t forget about his home’s rich tradition. Lamb korma, Tandoori-chicken and all kinds of Biryani can be found on his menu. But Bhatia always gives a new touch to his dishes, and rejuvenates and refines them. The restaurant entrance is as surprising as the kitchen since it is in the form of a spiral-shaped staircase. The terrace is new and was opened for a tapas menu under the stars. The tapas are of course not copied from Spain, but typically Vineet Bhatia.
