In November 1995 the Deira City Centre opened with a bang. Being the first shopping mall in Dubai it faced many copycats and imitators in the following years – not only in the city but in the whole Middle East.

 

Today the „mother of all malls“ is still a popular attraction for those who want to boost the economy with their savings. On a sales area of 115,000 square metres you find 370 shops that offer a wide range of products. You probably recognise many shops from the typical shopping streets of European city centres. Brands from A like Adidas, D like Diesel to R like River Island and Z like Zara are represented with their pieces.

 

In the Magic Planet, an indoor amusement park for families, Bowling City and a multiplex cinema wit 11 halls and 3,000 seats an alternative programme takes place.
