With its 10.000 square meters the Siam Ocean World is not only the biggest aquarium in all Southeast Asia but probably also the most modern one. Apart from the 4D-cinema for all senses there’s a wall with interactive 3D-animations and games as high as eight meters, two multi-touch screens with learning programs and a green-screen-zone where you can virtually douse in the underwater world.

But you cannot only dive in on the screen. At the “Dive with the Sharks Program” you snorkel through the huge pools, side by side with (harmless) sharks and skates. The “Back of House Tour” shows how the aquarium works in the background, and at “Happy Fish Feet” little fish nibble horny skin from the feet.

The Siam Ocean World is located in the two lower floors of the Siam Paragon shopping center with good transport connections to the Sky-Train – both lines cross at this station. How much is it? 20 Euros for adults, 16 Euros for children.
