Le Bain in the Meatpack on the rooftop of the Standard Hotel (opposite to the Boom Boom Room) is only one of New York's rooftop bars that oversee the city. With the indoor-pool, the ceiling-high glass windows and – one floor higher – the artificial lawn and the pink water beds, the Le Bain is an in-destination for the city's rich and beautiful. During the afternoon it's readily accessible after 11pm however the entry to the bar with view on the Hudson is only granted to people with one thing: sexiness!
Also Upstairs is sexy, the bar on the 30th floor of the Kimberly Hotel in Midtown, where since 2010 guests relax in close vicinity to the Chrysler Building in black basket chairs and waitresses in Lady Gaga outfits serve drinks like “The Chrysler” or delicious morsels à la “Spice Duck Cigars”.
The A60 is also knows for its exclusiveness – a bar only for members (or hotel guests), designed as a hangout with a touch of Asia on the 13th floor of the Sixty Thompson Hotel in SoHo with view on Lower Manhattan and Midtown. A special recommendation: the cocktails with exotic fruit.
