Not even finished and it’s already a hip place to be. HafenCity is Europe’s biggest current inner city development project. The inner city is to be expanded with the development of a new quarter. Innovative construction concepts, which focus on sustainability, make a visit to the giant construction site an interesting activity.

Guided tours through HafenCity are available every Saturday at 3 p.m. If you want to go it alone and discover the city flair for yourself, then take a stroll in the west of the new city development. Several restaurants have already settled here, attracting connoisseurs and setting the tone for the neighbourhood still to be completed.

For fresh bread in the morning head to “Dat Backhaus”, while “Carls Brasserie” and “Vlet” are ideal for a business lunch.
