It's one of those businesses that flatter your soul. The Schminkbar in Zurich brings together what feels and tastes good: wellness, beauty and delicacies. It's both a beauty parlour but also a restaurant. Whoever stops by believes to be landed in some lounge on Ibiza. Wood and oriental furniture dominate. Buddhas, stone figurines, flowers and Spanish-oriental sounds provide for a sense of wellbeing.

 

Bea Petri runs the Schminkbar together with her daughters Lila and Kim. By the way: she came to be known as a make-up artist on the lifestyle show “Cinderella” with Michelle Hunziker and “Bea's Box” on Tele Züri.

 

The offer ranges from classic treatments like manicure to special treatments like “inside and outside”. The treatment “After Work” includes wine and tapenade with pita bread along with a foot bath and massage or a quick pedicure. Also men don't come off badly: “Happy Man” includes beer and nuts as well as a haircut and a quick manicure.
