Sofia Airport is located about 10 km east of the centre, taxis and busses quickly take you into the city. Bus No. 84 is the cheapest option – it goes daily from the airport to the university. The ticket costs around 0,50 euro. Attention: For luggage bigger than 60x60x40 cm you have to get another ticket of the same price.

If you want to take a taxi you should opt for one of the companies that are recommended by the airport. OK Supertrans (http://www.oktaxi.net) and Taxi S Express (http://www.taxi91280.net) are two licensed companies. A ride from the airport into the centre should not cost much more than 7,- euros. Don’t get into an unmetered taxi and inquire about the price beforehand.
