“We aren’t a club or a bar, not even a restaurant – but a way of life”, says Mengi Zeleke, who also operates the hip-hop and soul club “Unity” (Hanauer Landstraße 2, www.unity1.de), about his new, purist baby. Nevertheless, you can eat very well in the “Ich Weiß”, drink delicious cocktails and sometimes even dance.
    
The restaurant is kept entirely white, which you may have guessed. The surprise: It doesn’t at all appear sterile or cold, but very inviting; partly because of the country-house style elements as well as a soft touch of baroque. The module idea that the owners have developed for their restaurant is interesting: Choose the ingredients for your dish from 18 different elements and put them together to your own taste. With meat, fish or roasted vegetables you can chose sides and sauces – every one finds their individual dream combination that way.

With it you get cool music. If you’d prefer it a bit quieter, we recommend choosing one of the tables in the right half of the restaurant. These are – of course – separated with white gauze curtains, and it is a bit less noisy as a result. Very nice, when you want to talk. After the meal, while drinking a cocktail or one of the good wines, you can swing back to the left-hand side.
