You love jeans? Are you looking for a hotel room in Frankfurt? Welcome to the 25Hours by Levi's®. In this unique hotel everything revolves around the classic Levi’s jeans.
If you think – how boring, too much blue and maybe even decorated with scary denim curtains – you are hugely mistaken. The two Frankfurt artists Delphine Buhro and Michael Dreher have really put to work the history of the legendary jeans. The six floors of the hotel are each based on a different decade of the jeans corporation, and the different styles from the early 30s to the 80s were integrated into each design. Just go and look for some of the countless details, which range from nice through creative and fun to very cool: Door plates made of jeans pockets, cowboy boots as lamp stands, the bathroom of each room interpreted as the “Red Tab” of the jeans.
Not only the design, the technology, too, is the latest – with flat screen TVs, free-of-charge W-LAN and iPod sound system. Official confirmation for the style of the jeans blue hotel: just few weeks after the opening it was voted the “hotel property of the year 2008”.
Doubles or singles cost around 110,- euros a night.
