When the Orfeos, one of the most popular art house cinemas in Germany, closed down in 1997, no one would have guessed that its successor would do such a good job. In January 1999, Orfeo’s Erben (heirs) opened again, the smallest THX cinema in Europe, where during the day movies and trailers are mixed.
