When the Orfeos, one of the most popular art house cinemas in Germany, closed down in 1997, no one would have guessed that its successor would do such a good job. In January 1999, Orfeo’s Erben (heirs) opened again, the smallest THX cinema in Europe, where during the day movies and trailers are mixed. At night visitors are invited to enjoy a tasty dinner with their movie.
