The Düsseldorf International Airport is Germany's third largest and is located 6km north of the city centre. It is serviced by it's own train station, called Düsseldorf Flughafen. Once you've arrived at the terminal, the 'AirTrain' will take you there in five minutes. A trip to the central train station will only take a matter of minutes and you will find yourself right in the middle of the action. Of course the bus will get you there cheaply; the 721 will take you right to the city centre, and depending on your hotel's location, like SB52, 760, 072 an SB51 might also be good options. Even the S11 rapid train will get you there. Taxi trips between the airport and city centre should only take ten minutes and the taxi drive will ask you for around €16.
