Have you ever wanted to spend a night in Heike Makatsch's or Lilo Wanders's apartment? Well now you can, at the designer hotel Stage47 on Graf Adolf Strasse, right in between the Savoy and  Atelier theatres.

Each room is individually styled and named after a famous artist. There are junior or maisonette suites available, as are superior and deluxe rooms. Alongside the luxurious decor and unique design, creature comforts like air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, clothes irons and free W-LAN go without saying.

We really recommend spending some time in front of the fireplace in the hotel lounge. Is there any better way to quickly come down after a long day shopping in Düsseldorf, before heading off to one of the nearby theatres? We don't think so.
