The airport is located about 16.5 km. to the north of the city. The Express Bus (line 783) gets you to the centre in about 45 minutes. The bus departs every 15 minutes from 5:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.; on weekends, holidays, and at night every half hour. You can purchase tickets in front of the airport terminal; a swipe-card good for a round trip costs about 1.60 euro. The taxi is quicker and the taxi stand in front of the airport can’t be missed. You shouldn’t pay more than 3.50 lei (about 0.80 euro) per kilometer.
