International SoNoRo Festival

Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Bach and Strauss are just some of the great names at the centre of the SoNoRo Festival. If you think Classical music old-fashioned, take a closer look at the festival concept: The combination of chamber music, impressive venues, and extravagant visual productions Is designed to put Bucharest centre-stage during the first two weeks of November.

 

St. Joseph’s Cathedral, the Military Club, and National Museum will serve as concert halls. It’s not only about music: performances are highlighted by video projections and light displays. SoNoRo will also tour the country with musical events in Cluj and Iaşi. SoNoRo is the only festival of its kind in Bucharest, and with its two-week run, jam-packed programme, and variety of locations is destined to be make a splash.
